Homecomings

Arghhhh.....I am starting to hate them. Yes, I am not feeling the love right now....I am feeling more like a selfish wench. I just saw another Welcome Home ceremony on the news, I am tired and depressed, the only thing keeping me sane is my friends. We cleaned today and prepared for a Homecoming ceremony that will take place on Tuesday, I am so happy for you!! Well, Lego Maniacs Wife all I gotta say is......take one for the team! And, Lego Maniac you have an amazing woman on your hands! Oh, and that kid is a charmer! "He is bringing "sesi back".

I took Ashley, Mariah and Allyson & Emily to a Halloween Dance on Saturday night while J ROC'S Wife watched the boys. They had a good time, they danced, they ate. I finally had to call it quits when, well we'll call her "Shenanae" started bumping and grinding on te dance floor like she was a working girl. It was so sad, she looked like she was about 10. Shame on her, it was gross. Funny thing....this was sponsored by DARE and the Fort Carson police, and they didn't say anything.

And, I miss my sisters like crazy. Like alot, more than I thought I'd miss them, sometimes I wonder if this lifestyle....I mean the "Army Life" is worth it. I hate being away from them, and them not knowing my children better. I know, I know I am 27 years old, but still I love them. Here they are my Loversisters....I miss you guys.

I hate the Army. That's all I am gonna say right now. This is the hardest two weeks of my life. I really liked this poem, I wanted to share.

I Miss Arizona

So, I am from Arizona. I love Arizona, it is where I call home, Arizona makes my heart feel good. Now, in the summer I like to call it hell, but I am used to it so it's no biggie. When Loverhusband asked me where I would prefer to be stationed all I cared about was being on the West Coast, my main concern was the kids knowing their family. Anyone who knows me knows that family is very important to me. He says we got Fort Carson, I say "YAY! We are within driving distance to go home and visit on leave" that was all I cared about at the time.

Winter is approaching in Colorado, a damn Blizzard??!! I don't like snow, I can't drive in snow, I cant go to Target in snow! I hate this. I get this damn call from Fort Carson 911, a recording "We have set up emergency shelter at CYS, please go there if your power is out". Yeah, not cool. Yeah, I am a sissy I will admit it. I was going nuts when the power was out for about 1/2 hour, I don't know how my very own "West Virginia Girlie" did it for a week! Props to you girl!

I hate the snow, but I love the look "snow" puts on their faces.

So, I have nothing to say. Not because there isn't anything going on, mostly because I am confuzzled. I am tired and anxious, and going a tad bonkers.

So, we put him in this really cute costume and Loverbaby in Piglet. Loverkid up there decides to make a huge ass mess all over himself. So, he ended up this.......

Could They Go Any Slower??

DAYS!! Could they??? They are dragging, and it feels like November will never come. Although, Lover boy finally called, he is safe, I feel better. Hugs and kisses if you are reading.

Well, my sister went on a date, and it sounds like she likes this dude. I have to call her tomorrow to get all the juicy details! All my friends know that my sister is the shiznit, and well she deserves the best....I hope he's it.

So, I decided to bake a cake tonight for Nate....as I turned on my oven it started smoking. So, Kelly and I turn it off, then Kelly claims she sees "fire". I say "really?" So, we turn it on again crawl down on the floor with our asses in the air and wait for the fire......like idiots!! Then the pilot light goes on.....that was Kelly's big fire!! We were rolling! It was classic! You had to be there. Well, cake was baked, we sang, and ate. I swear Nate has the "Never ending Birthday". Eh, you know us Mexicans....any excuse to party! Yes, I have deemed my friends Mexicans.

I have awesome friends, I really do. If there were like a Best Friend Award, they would win it.

I love my friends, they remind me that even though our circumstances suck, we have each other. I love the late night chats, the playgroups, the luches, the dinners, the fabric outings, the birthday parties......I love it all. We get tired and cranky, and have shitty days, but they are there. I am blessed, I really am. They all have special qualities about them and each of them makes me want to be a better person, I am working on it. None of us are perfect, I am probably the furthest.....But I love them.

I am so stoked, only like 24 more days!! Isn't that nuts? Wow. Now, when those 24 days have come I want time to go super slow.....almost pausing. Because I don't know how long he'll be here with us? The Army freaking sucks....I am crossing my fingers they give us 18 months, we shall see. Any sooner than that and I'm gonna have to break his leg or something. I have so many things to do!! Arghhhh!

I just watched "The Lake House" with Sandra Bullock and Hottie Keanu Reeves, and by golly I actually cried, well when I thought he was dead. Alas, a happy ending just like I prefer my sappy chick flicks. Loverkid sat there and watched it with me...he was pretty good. Although he ruined the mood for me when he decided to pimp slap me just as Sandra Bullock's character was about to see Keanu Reeves.....kids suck sometimes.

Parties....Do they ever end?

Another stinking party! We went over to G's house yesterday for a party! Total madness, but the kids love total madness....So, needless to say they "loved it". Great job on the pirate party G! He will remember it forever!

AshleyBear has a party this afternoon, so we had to go buy this kid a "Bratz Doll" and then I am coming home to make food! A yummy cake for dessert tonight and tacos!

Blah

Today was eventful, I decided going to Denny's was a good idea with my two boys (both under the age of 3 mind you). What was I thinking? Yeah, not a pretty sight, I promise all residents of COS you will never have to endure another breakfast with the Loverboys. It was UGLY!

This evening I had a coffee at Old Chicago, it was nice. It was my first time in downtown COS, and it wasn't very impressive. But, I got away from the rugrats for a bit so that was nice. Except for ordering the fish at Old Chicago, it was a bad move I should have just stuck with pizza. Their cookie with ice cream was delish though!! OK, enough about food!!

Thanks to Elaine and Tracie for watching the clan so I could get ready! You guys are awesome!

What is on television at 11:37 pm? Ask me...I dare you.

Jerry Springer, and I left it on, what the hell is wrong with me? OK, I like a little bit of drama, even some ghetto drama sometimes....ON television, in movies, in magazines, and in books! That's where I like it. I had to turn that shit off it was ridiculous. Although Jerry Springer reminds me of when I gave birth to Devon. The anesthesiologist "My favorite Guy" came in and was shocked that I was watching something other than Jerry Springer, I guess all the other mamas were watching it. I should have been watching it....misery loves company right?

Anywho....

I ran into an old friend it was nice. Today was a good day.

This sucks...I have no old pictures...So, I can't play! Arghhhhh!

Any of you guys have some? I'm gonna go look...and when Loverkid naps, I will try and scan. These total bum days have got to end!!

UPS Sucks

Ok, so I am on a bit of a ranting streak.....bear with me I will get over it. I always do.

So, I don't drink coffee, I hate the stuff. I am more of a "Hot Cocoa" girl, even a Latte....just as long as it isn't Starbucks. But, I have friends that like coffee and it's getting cold! Geez...I don't even own a coffee maker or coffee! So, I decided to do the Gevalia thing, you know? The free coffeemaker, I sign up for their coffee, then I cancel but I get to keep the Free Stainless Steel Cool looking coffee maker. And, I have reminded myself I am going to cancel! I put a big stickie up on the computer, so I don't foget!

Well, it got here today, I was so excited until I saw that UPS delivered it, the way they normally deliver boxes to us....looking like they've been to hell and back. It was broken...just the pot...glass everywhere. It was a beautiful machine though. I called Gevalia...they said to toss it, they'd send me a new one, I love it when companies are that easy to deal with. I may actually buy some coffee and teas from them now.

I hate UPS they suck, I will never use them again! From now on I am going to ask companies when shipping me something....not to use them!! (If it's a choice) BLEH!

Peanuts........

Ok, so another reaction...one so serious it warranted a trip to the ER.

Not fun. From now on I am going to be super careful about the whole peanut thing....I have been a bit laxed lately. It was pretty scary, he is still so young that he doesn't know it could kill him. The doctor said these are the most dangerous years because he doesn't know yet. I also gave him too much Benadryl I panicked and overreacted. I need to chill and just worry about my kids right now. I can't believe I did that. So, thanks to my dumbass we had to stay in the ER an extra two hours for observation because I gave him too much. Sorry Loverkid it will never happen again.

Ughhh...I hate peanuts. And, I feel like a big jerk because I have to make sure noone has peanuts at parties and get togethers. I feel like the Peanut Police. But, he's my kid, if I don't look out for him who will?

So, to everyone that has to deal with Loverkid and his allergy "I am sorry for the peanut rule".

On another note......Ashleybear had a sleepover last night, she was keeping her friend company because her dad just left for Iraq Saturday. It is so sad, we are so happy because our soldier is coming home, and hers just left. He is in our prayers.

Where the hell is Falcon?

Things my friends do for me. Ummm.....go all the way to Falcon in search of a toddler bed for me! Thanks Tracie. So, yeah I got another toddler bed for Carson, I think we may be done with cribs! YAY!! Yet, another milestone for us. Sheesh, now I have to get Loverkid out of Diapers.

My neverending piles of laundry are getting smaller, however my bedroom still looks like shit. Will it ever end? Arghhhhh.....

I went to Kelly's jewelry party, and we had a blast. The kids ate, and played. We ate all of Kelly's yummy food. Thanks Kelly!

"LoverBaby" turned "One" on September 14th, and "LoverKid" turned "Two" today...October 6th. For the rest of their lives they will be the same age for 3 weeks out of the year. What the hell were we thinking? I was knocked up for a hell of a long time! I am so not looking forward to two teenage boys.

So, we had a small get together, cake, candy, and playing. He had a ton of fun, we are gonna have Birthday Part Deux when daddy comes home, maybe Chuckee Cheese? We'll see.

Today Was BLAH!

It was a yucky day for me. I felt yucky, I acted yucky, tomorrow has to be better.

I HATE the comissary, I really hate that place, why the hell do I keep going back? Well, because they save us money...well kinda. Today those bastards overcharged me by $22, and then treated me like an asshat because I wanted them to correct their mistake and give me my refund! They make it pure HELL to get your money back there, they were like "Hold on anything over $10 needs a manager authorization". WTF? Why the hell wasn't a manager there to authorize you charging me twice for the same product? So, thirty-five minutes later, I had my refund.....I will only go back there because well they do save me money, and I guess I'll have to be one of those annoying ass customers who watches them like a hawk as I check out. I'll do it, I will.

My house is driving me nuts. I am determined to get organized before he comes home. I will overcome all of these piles of shit, dammit I will. **Sigh**

Counting The Days!

He's almost home. The year has gone so fast, and I am glad....now I'd like this next year to go as slow as possible. Almost stopping maybe? So, then maybe we could catch up and get to know him again. It is going to be an adjustment, but a great one. I can't wait.

What else is new with me? I got a chair for my playroom. A blue one. I really, really like it. Loverkid #3 likes to cuddle with me on it, I think we'll keep it.

Sunday was HELL. Pure Hell. I got sick. BUT........

I am thankful I have good friends. I am blessed. I got sick over the weekend, and my friends took care of my rugrats. Thank you guys, you are the best. I have four kids! So, taking care of them for me is not a small task. I am gonna live, hopefully it was just a bug.

Only about 30 days to go! And, he is HOME!!
