Wanted: CAGE for Unruly Toddler
He's in a toddler bed now. This is what we find him doing when he SHOULD be sleeping.
In his toy bin. Nice.

Then he looks at me like this and I can't be mad. I just laugh with him.

Things get crazy and chaotic especially with him gone all the time...and this is my refuge. I love being home with my brood. Don't mind my complaining, it's temporary...I wouldn't have it any other way! When the spawn I call my children leave my nest, I plan on retuning to the social work field, and non-profit work.

Carson is a riot! Love that smile! I would have to start laughing too! Don't you just love those moments?
I have this great metal fence that can be circled around to make an enclosure (I used to use it for my bunny before she kicked it)...I keep it on hand in case my kids ever get really naughty...cages are not at all a bad idea.
As for the escaping from the crib have you tried telling him there are big scary monsters under his Big Boy Bed? I mean, it might do some psychological damage down the road but it will allow you more sleep in the short-term.
The little shit figured out how to turn the light on! We might just have to resort to the cage.
Or we can do what my parents did, duct tape works wonders. ;)
You know, the weirdest thing I had ever seen was a big net thingie over a baby's crib to keep the kid trapped in there. I thought it was just so weird. I would be damned pissed off if someone completely enclosed me like that. LOL.
How is he doing now? Any late night excursions?
Arghhhh...He is still getting out and doing whatever the hell he wants! But, he's getting better!
