Newsflash: David thinks that our remote is taking entirely too long to switch to the next channel. He states that I need to contact our cable company so they can "fix" this problem. Yes people he really said that. It takes 2 seconds!
Oh, and did I mention that I hate Jack Bauer? Ahhhh....yes I do.

Things get crazy and chaotic especially with him gone all the time...and this is my refuge. I love being home with my brood. Don't mind my complaining, it's temporary...I wouldn't have it any other way! When the spawn I call my children leave my nest, I plan on retuning to the social work field, and non-profit work.

LMAO! David sounds like me. We have Qwest cable... and Tivo set up too. So we use the Tivo controller, change the channel and it takes like 4 seconds for it to actually change. It is so damn annoying!
Oh and Stella, I love you, but why you gotta hate on Jack Bauer?! I love him. Well, come to think of it... if I were married to "Jack" I would probably be dead or something, right? Maybe it's just Keifer that I lust over...
If you just have a regular remote, nothing fancy like TIVO Or anything then you should be able to do a simple power drain on it and it'll help your remote work faster/better. I know it's so weird. I used to work for Satellite & Cable companies so I took these kind of phone calls ALL the time!
**Power Drain- Take out ALL batteries and press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Then replace with brand new batteries. You may have to reprogram your remote if you have it set up for a TV Or Surround sound or anything, but if it'll make David shut up, it's worth it right? LOL j/k
